Relic TL
5 products
A relic finish is a new guitar finished to look like one that has been played for thirty years — worn through at the forearm, dulled where a hand sits, checked in the lacquer.
This is the Newen Telecaster-style body given that treatment, in red, white, blue, black and dark. The wear is done by hand, so no two are identical.
Underneath it is the same instrument as the standard Newen Tele: solid Argentine timber, two single coils, three-way switch. You are paying for the finish, and the appeal is that it looks like yours from day one.
