Marshall built the Silver Jubilee in 1987 to mark twenty-five years, in chrome and silver vinyl. It was only made for two years, and it became the amp a particular generation of players chased for decades afterwards.
The reissues: the 2555X at the original 100 watts, and the 2525H Mini at 20 watts switchable to 5 — the same voice at a volume you can live with. Matching 2536 2x12" and 2551AV 4x12" angled cabinets.
Its character is the mid-gain setting: more compressed and vocal than a JCM800, less fizzy than a JCM900.
