Guitar Stands

A guitar on a stand gets played. A guitar in a case does not, and a guitar leaned against a wall eventually falls over.

A-frame stands fold flat and live in a gig bag. Upright stands with auto-locking yokes hold the neck so the instrument cannot be knocked out. The Oliver wall mount takes it off the floor entirely, on a wooden base that looks like furniture rather than hardware.

All of them take acoustic, electric and bass guitars, and most also take a ukulele or violin. Padding is foam-covered where the instrument touches — worth checking on any stand, because bare metal will mark a nitro finish.
